Tried to study and do some exam papers but failed miserably.

Was planning to sleep for only half an hour, ended up sleeping for 1 and a half hours.

Woke up, went out to mamak with Crystal and her mom, and Hugogogo.
Didn't get to hang for long, half an hour, short but sweet (;
Came home, watched abit of tv and dinner.

I recently just watched Mariah Carey's Obsessed Music Video and I was told that the guy in the video who's acting like he's obsessed with Mariah is Mariah, herself. But the truth is that, she was trying to imitate Eminem!
ROFL. NOT ONLY THAT.
What's funny is, about a week after Obsessed was out, Eminem released a song called Warning and it was a reply to Mariah's Obsessed. He dissed her like crazy in the song and I'd say that the song is so effing hilarious. I just couldn't stop laughing listening to what he rapped in the song so you guys really gotta check it out.

I did TWO NEW THINGS, in two days, yesterday and today!

Yesterday I baked.
Yes I did. For the first time, without anyone's guide. Wahahaha if you were to ask whether it was successful, then it really depends on what your definition of successful is. To me, EDIBLE means successful lah. So yeah, I SUCCEEDED!!! Vanilla Cupcakes, simple enough (:

I cut my finger while baking! Haha yeah I know you're gonna think I'm such a noob. But who cares, I CRACKED FOUR EGGS WITHOUT LEAVING ANY SHELLS!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ok stop.
Mommy doesn't bake so I went to shop for ingredients with my cousin Billy on Tuesday. I bought everything, EXCEPT FOR BAKING POWDER. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH yes call me chunted man :D but luckily the baking master, Livia reminded me in time so I got it altogether. Thinking back, I realize how dumb it actually is. Haha anyway, it was a very calories-burning baking session since it was my first time baking at home, and I was working without the ELECTRICAL MIXER. THANK GOD Billy offered to help, so I made him do the mixing of hard rock solid butter with sugar, while I just sifted the flour and beat the eggs at the side. Hey, that's what MANpower is for! :D

We started at 8.30pm and cos my oven is bloooody small so we had to bake a few rounds. And we finally got everything done at 11pm sharp! WOHOOO two and a half hours for a first timer! Not so bad afterall! ;)

Yes thank you very much, I know they look super yeng. But it tastes normal lah, to speak the truth. I complained to Billy saying, I really don't understand why people like to go through all these hassle to slowly bake cakes themselves and dirty your whole kitchen, when you can just drive out and get so much yummier cupcakes from bakeries outside for just max RM1 each. Haiiih, I just don't understand sometimes.
Not fun also! =.=

I DROVE!!!
Just approximately 2 hours ago, Billy taught me how to driiive! Hahaha we went around my taman for an hour, he teaching me the basics of driving. It was an auto car so I'd say it was pretty easy. Billy praised that I'm a fast learner! Haha haiya sup sup sui lah. I'd wanna keep practicing so I get used to driving fast, and when I start learning manual later after my birthday, I can do it fast and steady, then I'll be able to get my license before SPM! :D
HAHA JEALOUS MUCH CRYSTAL?!

Oh one funny thing was, after the illegal driving lesson, I drove the car back into my house and parked. After the car was in place, I stepped on the brake pedal and I was about to hop off the car already! HAHAHAHA I FORGOT TO SWITCH IT BACK TO P GEAR AND ADJUST THE HAND BRAKE AND TAKE OUT THE KEYS!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ok stop.
How dumb. THANK GOD Billy reminded me. I really cannot imagine what my house would be like if he didn't. Hahaha life savior weih!

SURPRIIIIIIIISE!

Hello all!
Did I mention that my 17th birthday's coming? ;)
It's on the 31st but TODAY Wednesday, 26th...
I had my first ever surprise birthday party!

So today started like any other normal days. Got up at 9.30 in the morning although I slept at near 4 last night. Was planning to study a bit since I haven't been touching my books very much this holidays. Yes I know, not good. Yeah anyway, daddy was having breakfast downstairs so I joined him and we chit chatted for a bit. Then he was off to work and I was left alone at home, with my maid. Haiiih, yeah I mentioned that my mom and bros are currently happily shopping in Japan, didn't I? Sad sad case right hahaha, I totally thought it'd be a miserable birthday week already before this.

Yeah so I studied a bit and it was already noon. Crystal 's mom was supposed to pick me up at 1pm, as Crystal and I were planning to go make our sarees in Brickfields. So I showered, got my hair washed and changed. I took out my most comfy spaghetti strap (which looks very much like a top from my pyjamas) and shorts from my wardrobe, put them on and I was almost ready to go. I thought, haiya make saree only ma no need wear so nice lah, I'd be home very soon anyway so it'd be comfy to wear like this lah kan. Grabbed my handbag and I headed downstairs. That was when my maid commented when she saw me.

Ailin nak keluar ya?
(cos I was holding my handbag so that's why she knew I was going out)

Sekejap saya sudah nak balik maa.

So I went back up, changed into a pair of jeans with a hooded T-back and grabbed my Gucci handbag instead. Came back down and watched tv for a while before Crystal's mom reached. Hopped into the car with my SAREE CLOTH in hand and the first thing Aunty Fiona asked me was "Ai Lin, got bring your saree ahh?" Aunty's such a good liar man, when she knows that we're not even going to make our sarees =.=

Crystal's phone rang a few times in the car and once she picked up each time, the first thing she said was "OH QI YI AH! (Seventh Aunty =.=) ", when it was LIVIA on the phone asking her about the situation. What big liar man hahaha. Soon, we were reaching Saujana and Aunty Fiona informed me that she booked a place at Memphis Bistro for lunch for the three of us. So I believed without suspecting anything and hopped off the car when we arrived.

From the outside of the restaurant, I could hear a girl's voice, talking really loudly. I thought to myself, 'who the hell talks so loudly in a restaurant man?!' while pushing open the door. Suddenly I heard people shouting and poppers popping and when I looked up, I saw NAGUSHA'S FACE!!!
WTF @#$%^&*()?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
And then I looked around, from one face to another...

And they were all singing me a birthday song!

Haha I was totally speechless, for once. Couldn't stop smiling and laughing. It totally caught me off guard cos it was really unexpected. I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO MAKE SAREE!!! AND THANK GOD MY MAID ASKED ME TO CHANGE! LUCKILY I WAS WEARING DECENTLY, GOOOSH. HEART ATTACK WEIH THIS KINDA THING! HAHAHA :D

To the dearest organizers of this surprise, my beloved 3+1 sayangs,
the food was awesome and the company was beyond amazing. Thank you for all your hard work to arrange this surprise, I know you all love me! Hahaha not bad afterall eh you people, been learning a lot from the surprise master eh?! I don't know what else I can say other than thank you and thank you, because no matter how many times I say it, its still not enough to express my gratitude, darlings (: But I don't really think there's a need for me to explain anything because I know you all know it anyway.

I'm sorry I suddenly turned a bit emotional towards the end of the party, everyone. It just occured to me that I really cannot imagine myself being apart from this crazy bunch of friends that I have. These are the people that make up a part of me and it hurts me to think that I am going to leave them very, very soon. Although it's not really THAT confirmed yet, but I'm already trying to prepare myself for the worst. If I had a choice at all, I would totally just bring all of them along with me. But sometimes, we all know life's a bitch. You gain something, you lose something. And I'm going to miss all these faces very very very much. I took quite a long look at each and everyone's faces while they were not paying attention, hoping to imprint all of their faces in my heart. Lock up all these beautiful faces in the safe in my heart, and I am never trading anything in this world for these beautiful memories that we've shared.
You guys know how much I love you all yooo!

I know I've repeated this for a gazillion times. Please don't hate me.

Bad news is this holidays, mommy and bros are going shopping and touring around Japan WITHOUT ME! AHHHHH! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!?! IT'S DRIVING ME CRAAAZY! NOOOOOO!!! Ok stop.

Haiiih sien-ness. I hate exams. Aiyah but anyway I gotta stay to attend my interview. Cos lets say I successfully get my scholarship and then confirm leaving for Singapore, I can just flunk my papers! Read that??!!
I CAN JUST FLUNK SPM!!!!
Wahahaha but I'll be dead if I do that. Mommy's definitely gonna slice me into 987654321 beautiful pieces if that's gonna happen. OVER MY DEAD BODY. Hahaha sorry just felt like saying that.

But.

That just means that at the same time, I will have to leave all my darlings behind, for Singapore. For the land full of kiasu-s. Haha gonna go there and be one too. New environment, new friends, new style of living, all over again. But what's different this time is, I'm going to live, on my own. Yes, hostel, roommates, public transports, all those stuff. Too scary of a thought, to speak the truth. But somehow, I know, I can handle it.

Because this is what I wanted, what I've been dreaming of since I was a kid. This is gonna bring me another step closer to my dreams. And not forgetting its also what my parents want for me. That second when I told mommy and daddy that I got through the Selection Test held in May, their faces instantly lit up and huge smiles immediately appeared wide across their faces. I could sense the "That's my daughter!" feeling from them right away. And I know I should do nothing to ever let them down. I want them to be proud. Proud, of me (:

This is definitely not an easy decision to make. Leaving all my family and friends. But I know, this is called growing up. And I'm ready as ever to take the challenge. The challenge to challenge my own limits. Clean my own toilet bowl, wash my own panties and cook my own dinner. And what's worse, shopping without my mom. What a turn-off. Haha, but I'm really glad. Really really glad at the fact that at least, I've had the most awesome high-school life anyone could ever ask for. The most wonderful friends I've spent time with. You guys will forever be imprinted in my heart, darlings. Wanna forget also cannot already lah joh. Unless Ai Lin is not Ai Lin anymore lah, remember my words (:
